Tried to upload empty file

Since Opentools.de has now gone away I've created this forum to house FAQs and support for this mod in phpBB2.

Then how come your posting.php file is an older version? Did you use the premodified files? Where did you get them from?

BTW if you've now realized that you got the 2.0.21 premodified files from Sourceforge then don't despair. The 2.0.22 can be found here:
viewtopic.php?t=32

At least now I know what happens if someone tries to use the premodified files for .21 in a .22 installation.

Excellent.!

Thank you. I'd have likely given up before figuring that out. I'll make the upgrades and give a thumbs up when it works.

Thanks so much.

Till later,

ugh... Same response.

I've run the update_to_latest.php after overwriting the old files. Should I have started with a clean install of the entire forum?

Let's see what your posting.php file looks like now. Attach it again as .txt

If you want to send me a PM with FTP information to your site I will look it over real quick so as to eliminate phpBB as the issue or identify the problem within phpBB.

I decided to start completely over.

Dumped the database, uninstalled phpBB emptied directories, removed redirects and sub-domains.

Rebuilt it (we have the technology) and reinstalled phBB, newest version.

Reinstalled the Attachment mod, and it works seamlessly.

Nothing like a clean re-boot to solve a problem.

Thanks again for all your assistance and guidance.

Was trying to save you all that work

Glad that got it solved though. Something must have strayed somewhere... oh well. Another victory for attachment mod :D

I was just about to complain of the same problem here. Then, I found out that you will also get this error message if PHP's "upload_tmp_dir" does not exist!

Just thought you'd like to know
